Legal Studies

The legal profession stands as one of the oldest and most esteemed vocations across societies. Its distinguished reputation stems from its association with the safeguarding of fundamental societal values, such as justice and human rights. Moreover, the legal profession plays a pivotal role in shaping the political structure and legal framework of society, ranging from constitutional law to the entirety of legislative processes.

Consequently, the study of legal sciences has consistently attracted significant interest from students. The legal profession is intricately linked to numerous fields, including state institutions, international organizations, the business sector, and non-governmental organizations. Legal professionals are responsible for the design and implementation of judicial systems—encompassing courts, prosecution, advocacy, and other key components—where their expertise and commitment to justice are essential to maintaining societal order.

Political Science and Diplomacy

The field of political science is experiencing significant expansion, particularly in democratic nations, including the Republic of North Macedonia. The Political Science and Diplomacy program, offered by the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences at the American University of Europe-FON, is structured around contemporary comparative study frameworks in these disciplines, underpinned by a highly qualified faculty specializing in teaching, research, and academic excellence.

The program has established a premier international network within the country, promoting collaboration with leading institutions in the field. It offers students opportunities for study visits to prominent democratic European countries and universities. Political science studies are also actively involved in a variety of long-term projects in partnership with esteemed EU countries and regional institutions, in which students participate throughout their academic journey.

This academic program opens diverse career paths in public administration, the judiciary, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, business, political entities, and beyond.
