This profession is becoming increasingly relevant and essential in today’s social, economic, and security context, both nationally and internationally.
The faculty not only prepares skilled professionals for the private sector but also produces graduates who, thanks to rigorous academic criteria and high ethical, theoretical, and professional standards, are ready to contribute to the public sector as well. Their training follows a multidisciplinary approach that integrates modern investigative methods, security risk analysis, and practical skills necessary for effective action in various security fields.
With its comprehensive education and carefully structured course portfolio, students at the Faculty of Detectives and Security meet the criteria not only within the national education and professional system but also on a regional and global scale. Contemporary security challenges such as organized crime, cybersecurity, and terrorism make this profession one of the most in-demand and attractive worldwide. The world has long recognized the importance of security as a key factor in the stability of states, businesses, and citizens, highlighting the need for highly educated and competent professionals in this field.
As part of its educational mission, the Faculty of Detectives and Security offers practical training to its students, providing them with direct experience in relevant institutions. Thanks to the collaboration between the American University of Europe – FON and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, formalized through a partnership agreement in 2007, students have the opportunity to gain valuable practical knowledge and experience through internships at the Ministry. This cooperation allows them to become familiar with the real challenges of security services, significantly enriching their education and preparing them for a successful career in this dynamic and essential profession.
