Joint Diploma CIFE NICA
The American University of Europe – FON and the European Centre for International Education from Nice, France (Centre International de Formation Européenne – CIFE) have introduced a joint study program for Advanced Postgraduate Studies in European Union Integration. CIFE is the oldest euro-federalist institute in Europe, established in 1954 in Nice, and is one of the six recipients of the Jean Monnet program support from the European Commission. The President of CIFE is the former President of the European Council, Mr. Herman Van Rompuy, who was previously succeeded by the former President of the European Commission, Mr. Jean-Claude Juncker.
The goal of the joint study program is to equip students with the skills necessary to understand the institutional, legal-political, and economic framework of the European Union (EU), as well as the main aspects of integrating the countries of the Western Balkans into the Union. Professional skills and competencies for working in and with the EU, such as negotiation, preparation of analysis and projects, will be specifically emphasized. In short, the program is intended for students and professionals who already hold a degree in humanities, law, or social sciences and wish to specialize in the field of advanced studies in EU integration. The program is delivered in English by top European and domestic experts.
Upon completion of the study program, students will receive a joint diploma issued by AUE-FON and CIFE.
After completing the one-year study program and obtaining a total of 60 ECTS, as well as 300 ECTS from the first and second cycle of studies, the student will be awarded the (academic) title of Master of Political Science in the field of European Union Integration.
The English title conferred upon completion of the program is Master in Advanced European Union Integration Studies.
Conditions and Eligibility:
- Candidates with completed relevant four-year studies from the first and second cycle, earning 240 ECTS
- Candidates who have completed other related study programs may be subject to additional enrollment conditions
