Short narrative bio

Graduated in 2001 at the Faculty of law “Iustinianus Primus”, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius”. She continued her education at the Institute for sociological and political and juridical researches, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius”, where she got her master degree in 2007 and doctorate degree in political sciences in 2010. She started working at FON University in 2005 as teaching assistant. In 2010 she was elected as an assistant professor, and in 2015 she was elected as an associate professor in the area of political sciences at the Faculty for political sciences and diplomacy. In 2020 she was elected as a professor at the Faculty of law and political sciences (AUE-FON). In 2013 she was part of the US State department funded program on American politics and political thought at the University of Amherst, Massachusetts.

EU- integration and policy; Contemporary political history; International human rights law; International relations; EU institutions; Civil society; EU policies; EU common foreign and security policy; Political marketing; Euro-atlantic integrations and R. Macedonia; Theories of transition and political development. As an assistant, I was also teaching the following courses: Constitutional law, Sociology of law and Public administration.

European integrations, EU strategies, institutions and policies, human rights and freedoms, political marketing.

Research interests (and on-going research, if you are conducting one)

Her research interests tackle questions related to the European Union (different aspects of its functioning, such as the concept of European citizenship, the European citizens` initiative etc.), as well as questions related to human rights and freedoms (their protection in the system of the UN, Council of Europe and the EU, the jurisprudence od the European court of human rights, analyses of concrete human rights and freedoms, human rights protection at national level etc.).
