Academic Career

From 1991 to 1998, he worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Skopje, within the Institute of Telecommunications, where he participated in teaching and conducted research in the fields of telecommunications, chaotic dynamical systems and cryptography.

In 2007, he was appointed Adjunct Assistant Professor for the course Computer Training at the Faculty of Business Economics in Skopje. In the same year, he was appointed Assistant Professor, and in 2010 Associate Professor in the academic field of Computer Science at the Faculty of Informatics of the European University – Republic of Macedonia.

In 2012, he was appointed Associate Professor in the academic field of Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” in Ohrid.

He has taught the following courses: Structured Programming, Web Application Software, Software Design, Information Systems Security, Cryptography, Information Systems Design, Stochastic Processes, and Probability and Statistics.

He has supervised numerous undergraduate and master’s theses.

Research Activities

He is the author or co-author of 57 scientific papers, including 23 journal articles and 34 conference papers, published in prestigious international publications such as IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, Physical Review E, Physics Letters A, IEICE Transactions, Chaos, Solitons and Fractals, and the International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos.

According to Google Scholar, his publications have been cited more than 2,300 times. He has an h-index of 16 and an i10-index of 24.

His research focuses on secure communications and information theory.

He is also the co-author of the books The C Programming Language Through Examples, Introduction to Software Engineering, and Information Systems Security. He holds one registered patent.
