European Framework for Student Engagement: A Macedonian Voice in the Council of Europe

From July 3rd to July 5th, 2025, Prof. Dr. Irena Ashtalkoska participated in a working group at the Council of Europe office in Paris, focused on enhancing the management of student development and student engagement in the educational process.

The Council of Europe’s working group, alongside Prof. Dr. Irena Ashtalkoska from the Faculty of Economic Sciences at AUE-FON, included representatives from the European University Association, ministries of education, the European Students’ Union, the European Association for Applied Sciences in Higher Education, and other relevant international organizations and bodies.

The goal of this working group is to ensure that every student has access to quality education, to increase student involvement and responsibility within the academic community, and to create a framework for better governance of societal changes in this domain.
