Short narrative bio:
Veteroska obtained her undergraduate (2004) and graduate (2008) diploma at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje, in the field of Fine Art Printing and Graphic Design. She obtained her PhD in 2014 at UKIM with the thesis: “Typography and Macedonian Design (from 1945 to 2000)”. The main focus of her research is typography as primary tool of visual communication. She participates in international projects and workshops for graphic design as author and mentor, like the Inclusive Design project in Osijek, Skopje and Pozega, organized by The British Council, Royal College of Art in London and Kyoto Design Lab.
Veteroska is the author of over hundred produced graphic design projects (visual identity, posters, brochures, catalogues, books, book cover designs, illustrations, typeface design - fonts), among which is the Brand Book and Guidelines for the President of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Veteroska is the author of over 30 set designs of international opera, ballet, concert and TV productions. She has worked with directors and choreographers from N. Macedonia, Austria, Serbia, Italy, Russia, Germany, Albania and Hungary.
She has 7 solo exhibitions and has participated in over 50 international group exhibitions. Has received 10 awards for drawing, graphics and design in the country and internationally.
She works as an professor at the Faculty of design and multimedia, at the AUE FON University. She was Dean of the Faculty from 2016 to 2021. Under her mentorship, the students of the Faculty of Design and Multimedia, AUE FON, have won 8 international and state awards for Design.
