School of Detectives

AUE’s Faculty of Detectives and Security offers a rich study program aimed at preparing students for the development of a professional career in the field of security. With a focus on practical skills and the highest theoretical standards, the program equips students with the knowledge and expertise needed to advance in the training of personnel for this profession, which is becoming more relevant in modern life.

Overview

AUE’s study program covers a comprehensive range of security and criminology topics, including:

forensic technique,

Organized crime research methodology,

Through a combination of theoretical and practical lectures such as lectures on Special Security Training courses, students gain a deep understanding of basic security concepts while developing practical skills to deal with any situation.
 
During their studies, the students of our faculty make visits to KPD Idrizovo, to the premises of OKTIV (Department for Criminalistics Technical Examinations and Expertises) as part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Unit for Official Kitchens of the Ministry of the Interior, Shooting Center where they will learn how to handle weapons, etc. Also, during the course of study, practical teaching takes place in the premises of the police station for a duration of 30 days, and within the framework of the mandatory program, several days of outdoor teaching (winter and summer camping) are carried out to acquire tactics and skills for handling in summer and winter conditions. Logo painting, exercises for rescuing people buried by an avalanche, skiing, orienteering, mountaineering, handling weapons, are just some of the planned activities for students. Practical teaching is also held on the role and use of the polygraph in solving crimes.

After completing the studies of the study program, the student acquires an academic title: Bachelor of criminalistics/in international circulation academic studies title Bachelor of criminalistics.
 
Students are trained to use a variety of methods and techniques to solve criminal cases and security challenges. They learn how to analyze complex situations, evaluate evidence and make informed decisions.
Through exercises and simulations, students gain practical skills in gathering and analyzing evidence, interviewing and research.
 
Students gain knowledge of criminal law, court procedures and legal aspects of research, which is key to successful job performance.
 
The student programs include various fields of study such as psychology, medicine, law, and technology, which provides a comprehensive understanding of the problems faced by detectives and security experts.
